Stacie is owner and sole proprietor of Stacie’s Natural Touch, LLC. She graduated from North Arundel Vocational Technical Center in 1989 with her Cosmetology Certification and years later furthered her education by attending Von Lee International School of Aesthetics. In addition, she attends yearly trade shows to keep up with the latest technologies. Through the years it has been a constant struggle with allergic reactions creating skin issues, resulting in her search for answers. After seeing a holistic doctor, it was concluded that it was the harmful ingredients in the products being used that was the root cause. This led her to working in a wellness spa in addition to owning a small home business providing services using products that focus on the health and well-being of herself, as well as the client. Stacie is very passionate about her career and takes pride in what her work and her ultimate goal is to provide a warm and comfortable place that feels like home for her clients in addition to giving them the attention that they need and deserve. “Stacie’s Natural Touch” is a dream come true.

Many health conditions require more than what traditional medicine can address. Acupuncture is one of the oldest healing practices in the world used to restore and maintain health through acupuncture points on the body. Acupuncture is often used to treat a variety of health conditions, such as chronic pain, stress, headaches, arthritis pain, and to improve overall health and wellness. The classical Chinese explanation of acupuncture is that rivers flow in regular patterns throughout the body and over its surface. These channels are like rivers that flow throughout the body to irrigate and nourish the tissues. An obstruction in these rivers is like a dam that backs up and causes distress. Acupuncture seeks to reestablish a regular flow, helping the body’s internal organs to correct imbalances in their digestion, absorption and circulation through the channels. Today’s modern scientific explanation is that needling acupuncture points stimulates the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. Electro-acupuncture uses specific electrical frequencies to activate your own system of pain relief and healing. The improved energy and biochemical balance produced by electro-acupuncture results in promoting your physical health and emotional well-being. Joy is trained in both classical Chinese medicine and the contemporary science basis of electro-acupuncture which together provides enhanced clinical results. This is an ancient technique in a modern paradigm. A graduate of the Eastern School of Acupuncture and licensed in the state of Maryland. Joy has had extensive training in medical acupuncture from pioneering physicians including Dr. Noel Nowicki, Dr. Alejandro Elorriga-Claraco, and Dr. Jeremy Steiner to name a few. Joy will work closely with you to understand your entire lifestyle, medical history, health concerns and goals taking a holistic approach to developing your personal treatment plan.
